Stop with all the small stuff!!! By Jamal Allen

Where is the plan???? I don't hear anyone talking about cutting out every gov service in place today and doing it on their own. How about we do that. Republicans want less gov; take away the post office, SS, Public schools and so on. Let each state pay their own way. Th...at's an extreme but you get what I'm saying. I'm not saying change everything but hear me out. If you're driving your car for a few years and a tire blows out you get a new one. Now you go along feeling the effects of the new tire but over time it gets old and you have a blow out again. I'm guessing you don't grab the old tire you took off in the first place and put it back on your car. That's what we do with the GOP and DNC. I can't understand how one party can be in power and we as a country can't come out ahead so we vote them out and go with the other party. Over time we get tired of them and go back to the people we put out before for not getting the job done. Like all this talk about Sara Palin running in 2012. Did we forget that she was on the ticket last time and we as a country spoke up and said no! Now she is one of the GOP's front runners. It's like the hall of fame in most sports today. A guy or girl has to end their playing days and wait a period of time to get voted in. but some don't go in on the first time around. I don't get it, in baseball they will not hit anymore home runs, won't score anymore touchdowns in football but on the 4th or 5th try they get in. If they had what it took to get in why make them wait? Nothing changes over that time; they are still the same person. Tell me what has changed with Palin since she and John heard our voices other then her giving up her job which means giving up on the people who put her in office? We need to speak up and tell these people in office how we really feel. Every chance they get on TV or radio, even phone calls they say, "Gov is broken and that's why the people don't trust Washington". I have never in my whole life (30years old) heard of a city running itself. You think we don't know that YOU'RE Washington!!!! You are the ones we don't trust. Please stop referring to Washington as if it was alive and doing well. Washington is a place; it's a city just like Dallas. When was the last time you heard Dallas is broken and that's why nobody's trusts it. I'm not stupid, I just want to just into the TV and yell YOU ARE WASHINGTON DUMB ASS!!!!!! You say it's broken and yet you have been there for years, are you saying your part of the problem? No they won't say that but will be quick to point at whatever poll makes their argument and say this is what the people say. I don't know about you but out of every poll that has ever taken place, I have never ever been asked what I thought. So please stop showing polls and adding "this is what the country thinks". One last thing I want to say. Every time I hear a Republicans getting after dems for not having the same talking point. They say its party infighting and that's bad for the party. Meanwhile they stand their ground on everything. I don't understand how I can grow up in a house with my family of six and rarely agree on anything but yet we as a family made it all those years. And when a party is not on the same page it's somehow bad. To me, getting all those republicans to say no so many times makes me think that's bad. I would think given so many of them that someone would be thinking outside the box. Not just a NO across the board. So next time you hear someone left or right with a list of everything the Whitehouse is doing wrong ask yourself, when was the last time I heard that person with a list of how they can help. We teach each other not to talk bad about others and try to help people and build them up. Let's apply the same to people in office, TV, radio, and newspaper talking heads. I don't care if you love or hate Obama. I give the man much cred for having the "want to" of seeking the highest job in the land trying to make even if it's what he thinks is change.
